Now Lets YouTube Premium Subscribers Test New Features

The YouTube Premium Subscribers can test YouTube’s planned new features. You’ll also have access to YouTube’s experimental features down the line. In the past, Google picked random users to beta test new features.

YouTube Premium and Beta Testing

Android Central reported that YouTube would grant its Premium subscribers access to the streaming site’s new features. This news also appeared on YouTube’s experimental page. On the page, YouTube said users could share feedback on new features. Moreover, the site will now ask you to sign up for YouTube Premium if you want access to the new features.

New YouTube Features

According to The Verge, Premium subscribers can test watching sound videos and seeking on YouTube for iOS. For Chrome users, you can try voice-searching YouTube videos on the website. Moreover, you can also try filtering topics by language. While this access should excite users, YouTube says users only have access for a limited time.

Android Central guesses that forcing people to sign up for YouTube Premium to get the new features should help YouTube get more paying users.

Should I Get YouTube Premium?

If you want to grab YouTube Premium, you’ll have to pay $11.99 a month. With your subscription, you can enjoy ad-free videos, background playback, and full access to YouTube Music. If you’re still on the fence, being able to try new YouTube features might push you over the edge.
