Not only do LG’s new Tone Free FN7 buds kill germs, but it also has active noise cancellation so you can enjoy a clean listening experience.
Are you curious about wireless earbuds that also kill germs? Check out LG’s new Tone Free FN7 buds. The charging case emits UV light that kills germs. However, LG is putting the earbuds a cut above. The new models also have active noise cancellation (ANC).
The Verge reports that LG’s FN7 buds also have silicone ear tips and a “twist-fit Vortex Ribs design.” This design helps the buds block out outside noise without turning on noise cancellation.

Moreover, the FN7 buds use three microphones that detect sounds from all detections. These mics also erase all background noise. If you turn on ANC, the buds block out all noises. You’ll hear every note and voice. You don’t even lose out on details if you turn up the volume.
If you listen with ANC, you’ll enjoy five hours of battery life. Otherwise, you’ll get seven hours of use. With the case, battery life increases to 15 hours with ANC and 21 hours without ANC.
The FN7 buds also offer EQ and richer, fuller bass. Inside the box, you’ll also find the buds’ UVnano charging case. According to LG, the case can kill 99.9% of E. coli and S. aureus bacteria on the buds’ inner mesh. The case also has an LED that lights up to tell you how much juice your buds have left.
However, LG is not alone in the earbuds market. Bose, Jabra, and Apple each have buds with active noise cancellation. Let’s see if the germ-killing LG buds can rise above its rivals.

LG has finally released the world’s first rollable TV, called the LG Signature OLED R, for $87,000 only in seven South Korean stores.
If you want a new cutting-edge TV, you might want to check out LG’s new TV. The Korean company has released the world’s first rollable TV, called the LG Signature OLED R. By the way, you should also head to Korea now if you want it. This rollable TV is only available in seven consumer stores in South Korea. Moreover, you’d need 100 million won, or over $87,000.
The Verge reports that LG has built its new TV on a flexible OLED screen. According to LG, this screen is the “most innovative development in television technology in decades.” Because the screen is adjustable, you can extend it from the base and pull it back. This way, you can fully open your screen for 4K videos or stretch it halfway for standard files. You can even hide the panel once you finish watching.

In a blog post, LG said it wanted to free people from marking space for a big black screen that’s useless when turned off. The LG Signature OLED R also comes with three viewing modes: Full View, Line View, and Zero View. With these different modes, LG says it can expand users’ viewing experiences.
If you buy this TV, you can choose among four colors for the wool speaker cover. You can also have the TV’s aluminum base engraved.
The Verge says that LG had a tough time bringing this rollable TV to market. In 2018, the company showed off a rollable prototype. Bloomberg said the company might roll out a final version in 2019. LG did put out a commercial rollable TV in 2019. However, they didn’t release it to the market.

If you’re looking for a high-tech face mask to wear outdoors, take a look at LG’s new wearable air purifier. You can wear it like a mask, and it uses replaceable air filters to clean the air you breathe.
Called the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, this mask runs on LG’s home air purifiers. Moreover, the mask uses a pair of battery-powered fans to help you breathe. According to LG, the wearable purifier can sense when you’re inhaling or exhaling. When it does, the fans adjust their speeds.

LG has said that this mask should help fill shortages in disposable masks. The mask should also replace the disposable ones that may not always work against COVID-19. In July, the Korean company announced that it would donate 2,000 wearable purifiers to Severance hospital in Seoul. Since medical staff would wear masks for hours at a time, LG’s wearables should make it easier for them.
In a press release, LG said the mask analyzes a person’s face so that it could fit every face shape. Aside from stopping air leaks around the nose and chin, the mask’s fit also keeps it comfortable to wear for hours. Equipped with a lightweight 820mAh battery, the air purifier also powers the mask for eight hours on low, and two hours on high.
However, the CDC has recommended not to use masks with valves or vents. The agency said these masks don’t filter droplets that could infect nearby people.
These masks will be available in select markets in the fourth quarter of 2020.
