With the release of Call of Duty: Warzone Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune this week, Activision is not limiting the fun to console and PC players alone. On June 29, COD Mobile Season 6: To the Skies will be released.
After the “Tropical Vision” update for Season 5 of Call of Duty Mobile, developers are already planning the game’s next major update.
Now that Modern Warfare 2 has been released, we will likely see more handheld crossovers in the coming months. The sixth season will probably be the first of these.
Here’s everything you need to know about Call of Duty Mobile Season 6: To The Skies, including a look at the new maps, the release date, and more.
Release Date
Season 6 of Call of Duty Mobile will begin on June 29 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time. As usual, all regions can download the most recent patch simultaneously, giving players immediate access to all new content. You can access Super Bowl odds or other Esports games online as you play this fun game.
The previous seasonal update for Call of Duty Mobile was released precisely four weeks before this patch.
There were rumors that Call of Duty Mobile Season 6 would bring back an old map before it was confirmed. After developers mentioned “one older map from a Call of Duty game that was released more than a decade ago,” insiders speculated that Favela could be the primary map.
We are confident that Favela will be released due to development team posts.
Favela debuted in Modern Warfare 2 in 2009 and then reappeared in Ghosts. As part of the Season 6 update, it will now debut on handheld devices.
Given the recent announcement of Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and the rumor that many classic maps, including Favela, will return, the time is right for a Call of Duty Mobile port.
Jackal Fighter Jet Making BR Debut in Season 6 Update
In Season 6 of Call of Duty: Mobile, the Infinite Warfare Jackal jet will finally debut.
As a hint regarding a new addition to the game’s Battle Royale mode, the developers stated, “The sky is the limit.” With the jet, players can reach greater heights and traverse the map more quickly than ever.
Every other season, a new version of Call of Duty Mobile is released on a test server. Even though not everything in this one-of-a-kind instance makes it into the main game, it is typically the best way to anticipate what’s to come.
Due to the unique test build for CoD Mobile Season 5, we discovered that three new weapons are in the works.
The Oden Assault Rifle, added in the previous update, was the first weapon to be introduced. The final two pieces of equipment have been hidden from view until now.

- Favela is a poor Rio de Janeiro neighborhood recently featured in Call of Duty®: Ghosts. It is a multi-level map with tall buildings for sniping, alleyways for close-quarters combat, and a vast soccer field for epic battles.
- JACKAL: Fueled Up – Provide Alias with Jackal fuel and upgrades so she can travel as quickly as possible. If you do your daily tasks, you’ll get upgrade tokens. If you play Battle Royale or Multiplayer, you’ll get fuel. The faster a ship travels, the more upgrades and power it has.
- In addition, players can anticipate 50 new Battle Pass reward levels and new free and paid content. There will be additional operator skins and weapons, such as the KSP 45, Calling Cards, and Blueprints.

If you own a Call of Duty game on console, you already know the games are enormous. They get even bigger when you install updates. For next-gen consoles, though, get ready to upgrade your internet plans. The latest Call of Duty would be even larger on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
Call of Duty: Hard Drive Space
Kotaku reports that the latest Call of Duty, Black Ops: Cold War, would take up more space on next-gen consoles. The report cites Activision, which reveals how much space you’ll need to pre-load the game. If you plan to buy the game, here’s what you need to know:
- PlayStation 4: 95GB
- PlayStation 5: 133 GB
- Xbox One: 93 GB
- Xbox Series X | S: 136 GB
That’s a lot of space. If you want to buy this game, prepare to set aside some hard drive space. Moreover, if you plan to buy a digital copy, get a faster connection to download this beast.
How About Other Games?
According to Kotaku, Black Ops: Cold War on next-gen is bigger by 40 GB than its current-gen version. That’s still a mammoth game. For example, Spider-Man: Miles Morales on the PS5 is only 50 GB.

What Can I Do?
If you’re on console, you can uninstall game modes to reduce the file size. On the other hand, PC players can uninstall everything but the multiplayer mode. That would leave them with a 35 GB install. Moreover, they can forgo ultra-graphics to get a total of 82 GB.
However, PC gamers should free up at least 250 GB of space if they want to install everything.
