Quietly, Bose has turned its popular Quiet Comfort 35 II noise-canceling headphones into gaming headsets. So, if you like Bose, but you’re not a gamer, you might grab the Noise Canceling Headphones 700 instead.
The Verge reports that the new gaming headset costs $329.95, while the new Headphones 700 cost $400. In the new QC35 II gaming bundle, you get the same over-ear NC headphones, a detachable wired boom mic, and a USB desktop dial. Connect your mic to the PC through its 3.5mm port. Meanwhile, you can use the desktop dial to adjust your volume.

Moreover, you can use your boom mic for voice chats on Discord, since it also has a certification.
Since QC35 II’s mic is detachable, you can take the headphones out of the house and listen to podcasts or music. When you return home, just plug the cans into your PC and start playing.
Very few gaming headphones have active noise-cancellation. Even fewer offer Google Assistant and Alexa voice support when you leave the house. This type of headphones is already worth $300, which means the added accessories only cost $30 more.
According to Bose, you can enjoy 40 hours of listening if you attach the QC35 headphones to your PC. If you use it wirelessly, you’ll enjoy 20 hours of listening. For charging, the headphones have a Micro USB port. Charge your headphones for 15 minutes for about five hours of wired gaming action.
Gamers can also connect these headphones to the PS5’s DualSense controller, the Xbox Series X’s controller, and the Nintendo Switch.

Grab some audio sunglasses from Bose as the company has released three new models of their Frames line. Called Tenor and Soprano, two of the glasses are for the fashion-minded. The third one, called Tempo, is for outdoor activities, such as hiking and biking.
The Verge reports that the new Frames models have improved sound quality. While the glasses still don’t quite look like everyday sunglasses, Bose does claim that they have the “tiniest, thinnest, most invisible Bose speakers ever.”

All three models use polarized lenses to block out 99% of UV light, and they all look stylish when viewed head-on. Despite all the electronics packed in the glasses’ arms, Bose says the gadgetry just adds less than 50g.
However, the main selling point of the Frames is the ability to listen to music while wearing them. If you’re sick of earbuds, you can wear Frames and enter a private audio bubble. While wearing frames, you can still focus on the world around you while you get lost in the music.
Out of the three new models, the Tempo has the “highest-fidelity” audio, since it has 22m drivers in each arm. Bose claims that you can still hear your audio while biking at 25mph. Moreover, Bose also says that you can fit the Tempo under most helmets. Once you finish your run, charge the glasses through a USB-C port.
The Tenor and Soprano only have 16mm drivers, but they are scratch- and shatter-resistant. You can also use them for 5.5 hours on a single charge.
All three glasses are out now for $249.

If you own a pair of Bose audio sunglasses, you might want to upgrade them in the future. New FCC filings reveal that the audio company may be planning to release new versions of its audio glasses. From the filings, you could expect new units in Bose’s Frames line.
The Verge published photos from the filings. From the pictures, you would see the design of the glasses. Bose has built a set of speakers and hardware into the glasses’ frames. Moreover, the images reveal a USB-C charging port.

In the filings, Bose will brand the model under its Frames line. The new glasses will also receive an IPX4 certification for water resistance.
Bose has already released audio glasses before, called Rondo and Alto. Alto sports a classic angular design, while Rondo is more rounded. Both look like classic sunglasses, but they carry Bose speakers in their frames.
Don’t worry if you’re afraid people might hear your music. Bose designed the glasses so that you can listen to rich sounds while other people won’t. To keep sounds from escaping you, the glasses’ custom speakers direct all sound into your ear and away from others.
Though the FCC has published Bose’s filings, it doesn’t mean that Bose would release the new glasses anytime soon.
Moreover, these new Frames glasses won’t carry Bose’s sound-based AR platform. The company had canceled its development in June. In an interview on Protocol, it said the platform didn’t become what they expected it to be. Bose’s AR project would have used GPS and motion sensors to show you background info on what you were seeing.
