The Florida Mutineers have announced the signing of rookie Neptune to be their substitute player for 2021.

Many teams are yet to announce their substitute players for the 2021 Call of Duty League season. With the Challengers Cups and recent Scouting Grounds event giving teams a chance to look at the amateur talent on display, some teams have taken to the amateur pool of talent for their substitute players.

The Florida Mutineers have taken this approach, signing Travis “Neptune” McCloud for the 2021 Call of Duty League season. Neptune is an 18-year-old rookie, first competing in professional Call of Duty this season. This isn’t Neptune’s first year of competitive gaming, however, as he first began in Halo during 2017.

He began his career at eRa Eternity, before a long stint at Renegades and Sentinels. As a rookie, he joined Parasite, Decemate and Blazt for the first few Cold War tournaments. Here, he impressed and turned the heads of a lot of the amateur Call of Duty fans.

For the 2021 Season, Neptune will act as a substitute player for the Florida Mutineers. With over 30 tournaments to be played throughout the season, we may get to see Neptune in action.
