Quietly, Bose has turned its popular Quiet Comfort 35 II noise-canceling headphones into gaming headsets. So, if you like Bose, but you’re not a gamer, you might grab the Noise Canceling Headphones 700 instead.

The Verge reports that the new gaming headset costs $329.95, while the new Headphones 700 cost $400. In the new QC35 II gaming bundle, you get the same over-ear NC headphones, a detachable wired boom mic, and a USB desktop dial. Connect your mic to the PC through its 3.5mm port. Meanwhile, you can use the desktop dial to adjust your volume.

Moreover, you can use your boom mic for voice chats on Discord, since it also has a certification.

What’s the Point of the QC35 II Gaming Headphones?

Since QC35 II’s mic is detachable, you can take the headphones out of the house and listen to podcasts or music. When you return home, just plug the cans into your PC and start playing.

Very few gaming headphones have active noise-cancellation. Even fewer offer Google Assistant and Alexa voice support when you leave the house. This type of headphones is already worth $300, which means the added accessories only cost $30 more.

Should I Get the QC35 II Gaming Headphones?

According to Bose, you can enjoy 40 hours of listening if you attach the QC35 headphones to your PC. If you use it wirelessly, you’ll enjoy 20 hours of listening. For charging, the headphones have a Micro USB port. Charge your headphones for 15 minutes for about five hours of wired gaming action.

Gamers can also connect these headphones to the PS5’s DualSense controller, the Xbox Series X’s controller, and the Nintendo Switch.
