The NPD Group and Print Audit have partnered to integrate NPD's Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tool with Print Audit's Rapid Assessment Key allowing clients to more efficiently assess direct and indirect costs commonly related to printing.

With the ease of a portable USB device, Print Audit’s Rapid Assessment Key collects data from networked imaging devices, inventories all the assets, and then gathers meter reads on everything from life counts to serial numbers. Clients can then easily import that data into NPD’s TCO application which automatically ties together printer specifications, hardware, consumables, and maintenance costs. The end result is a unique solution that compares current customer printer configurations to new, more cost-effective printer solutions.
