Tweeter Signs on for Store Level Information from The NPD Group

The NPD Group, a leading market research company, announced that Tweeter is now using NPD's store level information to provide the company with a first-hand look at how its stores are performing in specific markets across the U.S. This critical data will help Tweeter drive strategic and tactical business decisions.

NPD’s comprehensive point-of-sale (POS) store level information for the consumer technology industry measures sales, market share, and other key metrics for 50 DMAs in the U.S.

“This is the first time Tweeter, which is a regional retailer, is able to truly monitor market share by DMA,” said Philo Pappas, CMO, Tweeter. “The company now has the ability to analyze market share performance in specific markets and customize marketing and sales strategies accordingly.”
